Happy Saturday!
We spent the day cleaning and setting up our family cottage. We were a little hesitant about taking the kids along, but are so glad we did! They spent the entire day playing on the beach and building sand castles. We just got home and tucked them into bed, and I am already looking forward to spending more time up there with them!
If you follow us over on Instagram, I shared a bit about our plans for our kids bathroom update. When we moved into our home just under 2 years ago, this bathroom was one of my favourite rooms in the house. I still really like a lot of the details, but just want to make some smaller changes that will have a big impact and give it more of that custom look. Here is the existing space:
Here’s what we are planning:

- 2. NEW CABINET HARDWARE
- 3. NEW WALL SCONCES
- 4. NEW MIRRORS
- 5. FEATURE WALL
- 6. PAINT
This is the existing chrome faucet, and one of the polished nickel handles from the new faucet. I love how much warmer of a silver it is!
