The Butter Rd Project has been in the works for just under a year (if you haven’t seen the install video yet, you can watch it here!) and when I look back at the before photos, I can hardly believe the transformation! The space was an addition that the clients had added close to 10 years before, but had always struggled with the layout. When taking on this project, we really wanted to brighten the space, and make the layout more functional. We started by replacing the flooring with a lighter White Oak, and removed the heavy window treatments. We chose a navy tufted sectional to maximize seating. I love the classic look that it adds to the space, and how it contrast… Read more »

Our Year in Review
2016 has been such an exciting year for our business and family! Thanks to so many wonderful clients, Steve was able to quite his job, and join me full time to help grow the business. With Wieske being my maiden name, we decided to change the business name from Wieske Design to Coco & Jack, after our two children. I love how personal it is for both of us! A FLOOR PLAN showing furniture and accessory placement 2. WALL ELEVATIONS with measurements showing the wall moulding design 3. DESIGN BOARD showing the products we sourced for the space to give an overall feel of what the space will look like 4. Numbered PRODUCT… Read more »
DIY Wall Art
I’ve received so many questions and comments about this DIY I did for our past home, the Murray Project, and have finally put together a tutorial along with sources for some other wallcoverings that we love! 1. We went with a 4′ x 8′ wood canvas, and a floral wallpaper by Ellie Cahsman 2. Prime and paint your wood canvas so it is the same colour as the background on your wallpaper. This will make the seams less visible. Start applying the wallpaper on one side of the canvas, and Use a level to make sure the first piece is straight. 3…. Read more »
Our Favourite Cabinets
I love mixing custom built-ins and pre made cabinets into a space. It makes the room feel more collected, and prevents the space from feeling too ‘matchy’. Below we are sharing some of our favourite cabinets and go to styles along with the sources!
