Here’s the second part of our Niagara Project tour. Incase you missed the first post, you can see it all here!
-the Office-
The existing office had dark walls, and crystal lighting. I actually love going darker in rooms when the rest of the house is mostly white. We had to do some patching and repaint the walls, but I ended up going with a really similar grey tone that had green undertones. We mixed in black metals and medium wood tones for more of a masculine feel.

-the Powder Room-
The powder room felt a little flat, and the chrome finishes didn’t give the casual feel the client was looking for. We kept the same vanity, but switched out the faucet and hardware. We also replaced the sconces with black fixtures and installed a smaller mirror. I think the biggest change in this room was the wallpaper. It added so much interest to the space!

-the Basement-
The basement continued the theme of shutters and crystal lighting. It also had a bar with mirrored uppers. We brightened the space by replacing the shutters with roman shades, and painting the walls white. We also removed the uppers in the bar and installed open black shelves. The transformation of the bar is one of my favourite before and afters in this house!

-the Play Nook-
The client had asked for a spot to store their daughters toys. There was a small closet under the stairs that wasn’t needed for storage, and I loved the idea of making a small space just for her We painted it pink, added in a bench, bookshelves and reading light.

We still have the bedrooms and master suite to share with you guys, which I’m hoping to post next week!
