It’s finally here—the long-anticipated reveal of our Country Lane project! This incredible journey, spanning over three years, has been a labor of love, creativity, and collaboration. From the very beginning, in 2021, when our clients first shared their dream of building a family home on a breathtaking country lot , we knew this project would be something truly special.
With the architectural expertise of iDesign and the master craftsmanship of Andy Jonkman Construction, every inch of this home was designed with intention, care, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Together, we collaborated, ensuring that each element of the home was tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our clients.
Every detail was carefully designed to reflect our clients' request for a Belgian Farmhouse aesthetic—a space that would feel inviting and effortlessly sophisticated. From the lime-washed walls that lend a soft, rustic charm , to the natural wood ceilings that add depth and character, each aspect was selected to create a home that feels both expansive, yet undeniably cozy.
As you step into the main living space, just off the foyer, you are greeted by an expansive area that combines two large sitting areas, a dining table, and kitchen—ideal for both quiet family moments and lively gatherings.. The panoramic views of the surrounding landscape flood the space with natural light and seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors. Although the home encompasses a significant amount of square footage, the thoughtful mix of materials and texture ensures that every corner feels warm and full of character.
Throughout the design process, it was a true pleasure to collaborate closely with our clients, understanding their desires and translating them into a tangible reality. Each decision made, from the choice of colour palettes to the selection of furnishings, was rooted in a commitment to creating a space that truly feels like home. The culmination of our efforts is not just a house, but a home —a place where our clients can create lasting memories with family and friends for years to come.
