We are nearing the end of this challenge, and I’m more then excited to see this boys bedroom come together! We’ve received a bunch of shipments over the last couple of days and are just waiting on some final items (fingers crossed they arrive in time!) By the way, I love how the floor turned out!! And the process was so much easier then I thought it would be. With just under a week to go, we have so many final details to complete (and are starting to feel the pressure!) I am beyond excited to be participating as a guest designer in this years fall One Room Challenge! We moved into our new house just over a month ago, and I have a long list of design projects that I would love to check off. For this challenge, I was able to narrow it down to my sons bedroom. The space is really small and has a bit of an awkward layout, however after thinking it through I see so much potential! One of my main concerns when working with such a large living space, is that the sitting area can be “too big” making it difficult to carry a conversation with someone across the room. In order to prevent this, I separated the… Read more »

Being a new Hamilton based realtor company, their main focus is on the building of the ambitious city and giving it the opportunity to live up to its long held nickname. They were looking for a cutting edge design that would reflect their modern business approach. One of the biggest design features of the office was this open area. It was important to the owners to have a space that could be easily cleared to host large groups for social get togethers or seminars. The design included hallways along the two window walls, and offices… Read more »
