Happy Saturday you guys! We’ve been having some warmer weather the last couple of days, and I’m loving it!
Happy Saturday! We’ve been using today to catch up on housework and just relax, which I’m not complaining about!
Yesterday we had some meetings in Toronto, and also had some time between to stop in at the new Restoration Hardware store. The place was absolutely huge, and had so many great details. I couldn’t get enough of the wood trim they had throughout the bottom two floors. You can see it a bit in that photo below!

Its been snowing on and off all day over here, and I’m happy there’s no where I have to go so I can enjoy it from inside 😉 This past week we finalized the new layout for our Forest Park residence. The entire home is being renovated, and we’ve come up with more functional layouts for the basement, main and second level. I’ve already started pulling together finish ideas, and am excited to getting into finalizing everything! We are working with a really tight timeline, and have to have the entire design done in just over 4 weeks! We are planning some pretty accent doors in some of the spaces. We often get hired by clients who are happy with their home and the layout, but are just looking for some more character and that custom home feel. One of my favourite ways to add in that interest and detail is on the ceiling. As the ‘fifth wall’ it often gets forgotten, but is a really great way to ‘divide’ open living spaces, draw attention to high ceilings, and give a room more layers and depth.
